Al Jazeera Forum launches a contest for Youth Researchers
The 9th session of Al Jazeera Forum, which will be held from May 4 to May 6, will launch a research contest for youth under the age of 35 from the Arab world and beyond.
Participants are encouraged to submit an unpublished and original research paper of 2,500 to 3,000 words on the topic of “Change in the Arab World: Approaches and Possibilities” along with a summary that does not exceed 300 words.
The deadline to submit all documents related to the contest, in both Arabic and English, is Tuesday 10th April 2015.
Entries should be sent to the email address of the contest: email@example.com in word document format along with a copy of the author’s passport. Papers sent in any other way will not be accepted.
The Committee has also clarified that all papers will be subject to the review of a panel external to Al Jazeera Media Network. The winners of the contest will be announced between 25th to 30th April, 2015. The panel will submit a short list of the five best research papers and their authors will be invited as special guests at the 9th Al Jazeera Forum in Doha.
