BBC Arabic Film and Documentary Festival seeks entries
The 2015 BBC Arabic Film and Documentary Festival seeks new voices telling bold and original stories about the dramatic political changes that continue to transform the Arab world in the aftermath of the Arab uprisings.
The festival is looking for films that address the reach that control and authority have over citizens, subjects, subordinates, superiors, peers and neighbours in the changing Arab world.
Each film can only be submitted in one of four categories: short films-fiction, 3 to 40 minutes long; short documentaries-nonfiction, 10 to 40 minutes long; feature documentary-nonfiction, 40 to 90 minutes long; and reportage-nonfiction, less than 10 minutes long.
Films must have been made after December 2010 and the deadline for submissions is 11:55pm on May 13.
