The Doha Centre for Media Freedom (DCMF) is organising a public debate on Arab media following the revolutions.
The debate will begin at 6pm on January 24 in Doha’s Heritage Hotel (Aspire Zone) and will conclude at 8 pm.
All are invited to the event, which will include two discussions. The first will be on Arab media after revolutions. The second will focus on rights and responsibilities of columnists. The editors of Arabic newspapers Al Watan, Raya and Alarab will speak during the second talk.
The debates, also organised by Qatar Debate, will be in Arabic. Translation will not be provided.
