Residency Fund for Arab filmmakers
Fall Cycle for The Residency Fund is now open
The Residency Fund is aimed at supporting filmmakers from the Arab countries to finalise the editing of their documentary films that rely on the use and contextualisation of archival footage (including citizen journalists videos and activists videos, personal archive, national archive, etc).
The fund hosts filmmaking teams (directors/editors) to edit their films to completion over a period of 3-12 weeks.
As the fund opens four cycles a year, applicants are able to choose a cycle of four that best matches their editing schedule.
Call for application is now open
Deadline for submitting complete applications for this cycle is July 15, 2015.
